'Oklahoma!’ on stage at Central Feb. 26-28

Sing it with me, C-E-N-T-R-A-L, Central High, OK!

Central High School is putting on a traditional production of “Oklahoma!” at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 26–28, with an additional matinee at 2 p.m. Saturday in the school’s auditorium.

Tickets cost $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Purchase tickets in advance from any Central drama student or at the door.

A cast of 30 students, freshmen through seniors, will act in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical known for memorable songs such as “Oklahoma!” and “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’.”

With cowboys, a lovely farm girl, a love triangle and a barn dance, “Oklahoma!” has it all.

Parents and school faculty chipped in for costumes and other area high schools helped out with props, said Jennifer Leasure, Central’s theater teacher.
