Pianist/composer Stuart Isacoff to perform in next Guest Artist Recital Series at college

Pianist and composer Stuart Isacoff will perform as part of Mesa State College’s Guest Artist Recital Series at 7:30 p.m. March 26 in the Recital Hall of the Moss Performing Arts Center.

Isacoff is the founding editor of Piano Today magazine and author of “Temperment: How Music
Became a Battleground for the Great Minds of Western Civilization.”

Isacoff teaches at the Purchase College Conservatory of Music.

“His piano recitals often combine classical repertoire with jazz improvisation, demonstrating the threads that connect musical works created centuries and continents apart,” according to a synopsis about Isacoff at new.mesastate.edu/.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and, $5 for students and children.
