Poets, musicians of cowboy bent to gather for event

Poems, songs and stories of the working cowboy can be found at this weekend’s Grand Junction Poetry Gathering.

Poets and musicians from the region will perform from 1–5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Whitman Educational Center, 248 S. Fourth St.

Admission is free to these daytime events.

Evening performances begin at 7 p.m. both days and the admission to those events is $5 per person. Those under 12 years old are free.
