Briefs: OA Turkey Creek Ramblers December 26, 2009

The Turkey Creek Ramblers from Telluride are joining forces with local band Stray Grass for a bluegrass music night at Mesa Theater and Club on Saturday, Dec. 27.

The Ramblers play everything from Bob Dylan to the Rolling Stones with a few originals thrown in, according to a news release from the band.

Founding members Adam W. Pace and Chuck Hugenberg have backgrounds in traditional folk, finger pickin’ and classical music. Their bandmates, Mike Pale and Mike Enriquez, are sought-after musicians in the their own right.

The Ramblers plan to record a new album in 2009.

Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9 p.m. at Mesa Theater. Tickets cost $10 for the 21-and-up show.
