Celtic Rhapsody coming to GJ, Glenwood Springs

An “explosive” show of Celtic dancers, “virtuoso temperaments and symphonic textures” are what audiences will experience during Celtic Rhapsody, according to promotional materials

A music and dance concert presented as part of the Western Slope Concert Series, Celtic Rhapsody will be performed at 7:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday, Jan. 11–12, at Avalon Theatre in Grand Junction, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at Glenwood Springs High School in Glenwood Springs.

“Special guest star Rosemarie Mientka will add a magical touch of ballet to the program,” according to a news release.

“A virtual wall of gorgeous string sound, beautiful songs, gutsy percussion, dazzling costumes and dances will make Celtic Rhapsody an incredible evening to remember for the whole family.”

All seats are reserved. Tickets for the Grand Junction show start at $26 in advance and $29 at the door. Tickets for the Glenwood Springs show start at $24 in advance and $27 at the door.
