Dueling pianos at Mesa Theater

Three grand pianos and whatever music the audience requests are on the bill for a performance by the Dueling Pianos this weekend.

“Because the crowd determines what we play, no two shows are ever the same,” said Dueling Pianos founder Caz Bzdek in a news release.

The Dueling Pianos, known for entertaining, regular performances at Sing Sing in Denver will play in Grand Junction starting at 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Mesa Theater and Club, 538 Main St.

Pianists for the Grand Junction show include Bzdek, Drew DeFour and Michael Scherr.

The show mixes comedy with music and the pianos are augmented with drums, keytar, sax and guitars.

Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased through http://www.TicketMaster.com and http://www.TicketWeb.com. The day of the show and at the door, tickets are $20.
