Cross Orchards now open

Cross Orchards Historic Site, 3071 F Road, will open for the season on Thursday, May 1.

There are a number of special events planned for Cross Orchards’ season:

■ Spring Day on the Farm, Saturday, May 3.

■ Heritage Day, June 7.

■ Kid’s Camp, June 9–13, June 23–27, July 7–11 and July 21–25.

■ Two Rivers Chautauqua, Sept. 19–20.

■ Fall Day on the Farm, Saturday, Oct. 18.

Telluride Blues & Brews
Festival completes music lineup

 

The complete lineup has been announced for the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival set for Sept. 12–14, in Telluride’s Town Park.

The headliners are George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, the Violet Femmes and Peter Frampton. Also performing are The Meter Men, Buddy Guy, Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaries, The Slide Brothers, Zach Deputy, Roosevelt Collier & The Bayou Gypsies, Bombino, Amy Helm and the Handsome Strangers, MoHead, Patrick Sweany, The Record Company, Markus James, Chris Dracup, Lee Fields & the Expressions, Shakey Graves, Dumpstaphunk, Kipori Woods, Anders Osborne, Robert Cray Band, The Lee Boys, Black Joe Lewis and Ryan McGarvey.
