CMU students’ ceramics sale scheduled
The Colorado Mesa University Clay Club will have its winter ceramics sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 7–8, on the first floor of the University Center.
The sale will feature unique pottery at reasonable prices with proceeds going to the participating student artists and a portion donated to the CMU Clay Club.

Check out area Christmas craft fairs
A number of Christmas craft fairs are planned for this weekend. Among them are:
■ Heart of Junction will host a Christmas Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at 755 N. Fourth St.
■ The 24th annual Paonia Holiday Art Fair will be from 3–8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Blue Sage Center for the Arts, 226 Grand Ave. A variety of art items will be available and there will be music by David Sheppard, the Freedom Choir and more, plus hot soups, bread and desserts.
■ Calvary Chapel, 492 Morning Glory Lane, will host its fifth annual Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. There will be craft and direct sale vendors, a bake sale, coffee bar, soup lunch and Christmas fun.
■ The Lavender Association of Western Colorado’s eighth annual Artisan Christmas Craft Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Redlands Community Center, 2463 Broadway. There will be an assortment of lavender activities, products, information and local artisans.
■ The third annual Winter Celebrations Art and Craft Show is planned for Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2–3, at Montrose County Fairgrounds, 101 N. Second St., in Montrose. Hours are 3–7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. There will be art, crafts, gourmet foods, toys home decor, a kids craft corner and more. Info: 275-6547.
■ A Holiday Craft Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Bill Heddles Recreation Center in Delta. More than 70 vendors will be on hand. Info: 874-0923.
