Flat Top Reed has new album

Local band, Flat Top Reed has released a new compilation CD titled: “Flat Top Reed: So Far…” featuring a compilation of the band’s favorite tracks from its first two albums.

The CD has 13 tracks — seven originals and six traditional — with a mix of blues, folk and Americana, according to a news release.

Flat Top Reed founders Paul Harshman and John Anglim have played together for almost 12 years, but the band has played in various configurations, from the original duo to a full band, that features guest artists from other local bands.
