Montrose artists’ work honored at show

Two Montrose artists were awarded top honors at the annual Bighorn Rendezvous Art Show and Sale on display through Sunday, Aug. 27, at the Brinton Museum in Bighorn, Wyoming.

Ralph Oberg’s “Winter’s Breath” received the Founder’s Award of Merit from the Rendezvous Group.

Gregory Packard was awarded The Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine’s Best of Show Award by the museum curatorial staff for his oil “Nocturnal Instincts.”

Oberg and Packard are nationally and locally represented artists and their works are featured at Cimarron Song Gallery, 901 E. Main St., in Montrose.
