Fruita Fall Fest fun this weekend
The Alpine Bank Fruita Fall Festival opens at noon Friday, Sept. 25, featuring entertainment on two stages, a carnival, parade, contests and more than 150 arts, crafts, food and service vendors.
Highlights of the three-day event include a street dance at 7 p.m. Friday with Exit 42 in Circle Park, and a magic show with Robert “Ned” Nedbalski on the Pavilion Stage.
Get out of bed early Saturday morning and head to the corner of Aspen and Maple at 9 a.m. to watch teams vie for a $400 prize in the bed race. The parade gets under way at 10 a.m. A baking and canning contest is at 3 p.m. and the Rimrock Rodeo finals begin at 7.
Cowboy Church is at 11 a.m. Sunday and a youth pet and talent show from
1–4 p.m. Sunday.
