Fruita swimming pool to have final doggie day on Sept. 16

Last call for canines.

The last of the dog days at local swimming pools will go from 4–6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at the community center’s outdoor pool, 324 N. Coulson St., in Fruita.

This Dog Daze pool party will feature a dog wash, treats and more. All dogs must be licensed through Mesa County and up-to-date on their parvo, rabies and distemper vaccinations.

Cost is $1. Dogs and their human companions should enter and exit through the east gate (back gate) of the outdoor pool.

Call 858-0360 for information.

The Lincoln Park-Moyer Swimming Pool and Palisade Pool conducted events for four-legged critters earlier this month.
