Go wild for comedy at CMU

A panicked Dromio (Lane Heinz), center, attempt to keep Antipholus (Bryan Carlson), left, and his wife Adriana (Jenna Miles) apart as the couple fights in the marketplace during a scene in “The Comedy of Errors.” The William Shakespeare comedy will be performed Wednesday through Saturday, Nov. 16-19.

It’s chaos a la William Shakespeare.

Described as the playwright’s wildest comedy, “The Comedy of Errors” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, Nov. 16–19, at Robinson Theatre in Colorado Mesa University’s Moss Performing Arts Center, 1231 N. 12th St.

The show is rated PG-13 and is not recommended for children.

Two sets of identical twins, accidently separated at birth, are reunited in Ephesus along with their parents. But along the way there are cases of mistaken identity and plenty of slapstick comedy.

“Shakespeare’s wildest comedy brings the action to a crescendo of chaotic confusion that will leave you breathless with laughter,” according to a news release.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $6 for students.

Call the university box office at 248-1604 for information.
