Hear It Through the Grapevine series is back
The Hear it Through the Grapevine Summer Concert Series is back for another season of concerts to benefit local charities.
The first of eight concerts will be Saturday, June 29, at Grande River Vineyards in Palisade and will feature the Frank Bregar Orchestra with Krystyn Hartman. Proceeds will go to Western Slope Food Bank of the Rockies.
The gate will opens at 6:30 p.m., and the concert will be at 7:30 p.m. on the lawn. Take a bag of nonperishable food to donate to the food bank. A truck to collect the food will be on site.
Tickets for the show cost $15 in advance or $20 at the gate. Children age 12 and younger are admitted free.
Season tickets are available for the eight concerts for $143. Tickets can be purchased at Grande River Vineyards, just off Interstate 70 at Exit 42, at Fisher’s Liquor Barn, City Market stores, Roper Music and foodbankrockies.org.
Dinner and drinks — wine, soda and water — will be available to purchase or you can take a picnic. No outside beverages will be allowed.

■ Saturday, July 6, Red, White and Blues, Western Colorado Jazz Orchestra, $15 advance, $20 at the gate, benefits Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra.
■ Saturday, July 13, Quemando, $18 advance, $24 at the gate, benefits Child and Migrant Services.
■ Saturday, July 20, Stray Grass, $15 advance, $20 at the gate, benefits Roice-Hurst Humane Society.
■ Saturday, July 27, John Adams, John Denver Tribute, $20 advance, $25 at the gate, benefits Colorado State University Tree Fruit Research and Horticulture Society.
■ Saturday, Aug. 3, Hazel Miller, $20 in advance or at the gate, benefits Mesa County Partners.
■ Saturday, Aug. 10, Boys of Summer, Eagles Tribute, $20 advance, $25 at the gate, benefits Strive (formerly Mesa Developmental Services).
■ Thursday, Aug. 15, Remus Tucker Band, $20 advance, $25 at the gate, benefits Palisade Chamber of Commerce.
