Havlik switch means primary in coroner’s race

Havlik have you heard of crawfishing? Flip flopping? You lost any chance at my vote.

I guess Havlik thinks the only way to get reelected is to be a Republican. What I can’t figure out is how a Republican coroner would be any different than a Democratic coroner. Why is this position a political one in the first place?. It should be about skill sets, not ideology.

Remember the deceased people the coroner works on were some mother’s baby at one time and some father’s pride and joy.
Whoever is the coroner, we want them to treat the deceased with reprect due a life now gone. I’m sure both men running for this post are respectful and compassionate.
