Look Out!

Teri was spotted at a press conference for the John McConnell Math & Science Center, of which she is director.

Scene: Teri led a press conference at Dinosaur Journey announcing the move of the John McConnell Math & Science Center, of which she is director, to a site near the dinosaur museum.

Style: Her houndstooth-check slacks are from White House | Black Market, black turtleneck sweater is from Herberger’s and red cardigan is from Chico’s. Teri knitted the scarf herself in only a couple of hours. Her earrings are red shell and silver, purchased on the Navajo Nation years ago when Teri worked in Albuquerque, N.M.

Fashion Sense: Holding a press conference means necessarily all eyes will be upon you. When thinking about what to wear, Teri said she decided to wear red, “because it’s a power color.” It’s also festive for the holiday season, she said. “I didn’t want to feel too tailored, too structured — that’s why the sweater instead of a jacket.”
