Look Out! Nov. 15
Scene: The Grand Junction Area Chamber Business Showcase on Oct. 29 at Two Rivers Convention Center. Lindsey sells advertisement for the Younger Agency, which places ads in airports. Lindsey’s territory is Juneau, Alaska, San Diego, Elko, Nev., and Grand Junction. A former fashion blogger, she has fun with her wardrobe.
Style: First, that bag. “I made this bag,” Lindsey said.
“That’s my weekend job” she said of her company, Rolana Leather. Volunteering at a leather shop gives her access to commercial sewing machines in trade.
Lindsey was attracted to her animal print blouse because of the gold buttons. “I’m really into gold right now,” she said. The scarf was purchased in Truckee, Calif. The black, stove-pipe slacks are a foundational favorite.
Lindsey accessorized with a Betsey Johnson watch, inexpensive gold rings and a necklace purchased at the Fourth of July Festival in her hometown of Shasta, Calif.
Fashion sense: Lindsey previously worked on the creative side of the Younger Agency, where designers could wear whatever they pleased. Now, in sales, “this is much different,” she said of her desire to look “professional, classy and neat.”
“But I don’t want to lose myself,” she said.
