Look Out! Kristi’s ‘touch of sass’

“I really believe that in my business clothes are the tools of my trade,” said Kristi, who is wearing a wrap dress from The Main Paige, 542 Main St.

Scene: Kristi was taking in the new exhibit, “Distant Treasures in the Mist,” at The Museum of the West, 462 Ute Ave.

Style: The cardinal wrap dress with black skinny belt is from The Main Paige, 542 Main St. So is the scarf — in coordinating cardinal, with metal beading and tassels. Her black leather boots with buckle detailing are from Shoe Carnival. Kristi said she aims for “classic, with a touch of sass.”

Fashion sense: Because she owns a fundraising, marketing and event-planning firm, P², “I really believe that in my business my clothes are the tools of my trade,” Kristi said. On any given day, she may have coffee with an elected official, lunch with a potential sponsor and attend a gala that evening. But she was seemingly born to dress the part. When she was a little girl and her mother asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, Kristi said, “I want to wear a suit.”
