Look Out! Shari’s pop of color
Scene: Zephyr women’s clothing store, 554 Main St. Owner Cyndi was selecting outfits for Shari, who will be modeling in It’s a Girl Thing on Saturday, Nov. 9. The event is a fundraiser for the Western Slope Center for Children, which assists children who are victims of sexual abuse. Shari is executive director.
Style: Zephyr provided all of Shari’s clothes and accessories. The deep-berry-red twinset is by Petit Pois. The Equestrian Design versatile black slacks — pull-on, low maintenance and oh-so-comfortable — are “bullet-proof,” Cyndi said. “They’re like a forever pant.” Jewelry is by OFJ. The statement necklace is tri-colored metal, and bangles are layered to match.
Fashion Sense: “It’s unfortunately pretty black and white,” Shari admitted of her everyday work clothes. “I’ve gotten better about using some accessories, some scarves” for a pop of color and interest. Look to see her in fun colors at the fashion show.
Tickets to It’s a Girl Thing are $15 and are available by calling Bookcliff Country Club at 243-3323. The fundraiser starts at 11:30 a.m. with a champagne reception and includes lunch, a wine tasting, the fashion show, a book exchange and demonstrations from vendors.
