Look Out! Linda’s bargain look

Linda balances professionalism and color expression.

Scene: Admittedly, Look Out! did not have to look far to find Linda in the offices of The Daily Sentinel, but that skirt deserves a mention! Linda, the Sentinel’s major accounts executive, balances professionalism and color expression when she dresses to meet with clients.

Style: Her kelly-green blouse came from J.C. Penney, as did her colorful skirt. “This was my great find at J.C. Penney for two dollars,” Linda said of the pencil skirt. “I’m a great clearance shopper.” Boots are from Shoe Encore — for $20 — and her necklace and earrings are from the Village Hare, where she gets her nails done.

Fashion sense: “I have a lot of clothes, but I always shop for the best bargains,” Linda said. She doesn’t bother trying on clothes. If an inexpensive item doesn’t fit, she’ll donate it to Goodwill and save the time in returning. In the wintertime, Linda said she’ll wear neutral boots with outfits, but in summertime: “I like to be color-coordinated. I like to have matching colored sandals.”
