Look Out!: Kim’s ‘zip of color’

Kim describes her style as “pretty modern. I don’t like to look like what I’m wearing came right out of a catalog.”

Scene: Kim stopped by Two Rivers Convention Center on Feb. 10 for the Home Loan Taste of the Grand Valley, a food-festival fundraiser for United Way of Mesa County.

Style: Kim layered a teal sweater dress and black cardigan with a lace camisole from Victoria’s Secret, tights from Herberger’s, and boots from Nordstrom’s. Her necklace and earring set is reversible, with mother of pearl insets on one side and abalone on the other. Her striking beaded bracelet was purchased from Modern Salon, 216 S. Second St. Her bag was a silent auction win from the Fruita Chamber of Commerce annual banquet last year.

Fashion sense: As senior mortgage loan officer for Bank of America Home Loans, Kim needs to dress professionally, but she likes to add a “zip of color” through tights, jewelry or other accessories. She describes her style as “pretty modern. I don’t like to look like what I’m wearing came right out of a catalog.”

Out & About is on the lookout for stylish men, women and children in the Grand Valley. If we see you, please don’t be shy to share your fashion tips.
