Theatre Project presents Simon’s ‘Lost in Yonkers’
The writings of American comic playwright Neil Simon take center stage locally when The Theatre Project gives three productions of “Lost in Yonkers” at Creative Avenues, 835 N. 26th St.
The performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.
The comedy will feature seven local actors and is set in 1942 Yonkers, N.Y.
The play tells the story of two young boys sent to live with their stern grandmother and their 35-year-old aunt Bella after their father takes off to be a salesman.
The Broadway play won the 1991 Pulitzer Prize for drama.
Tickets to show are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
