Man killed in crash near Mesa-Delta line

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a crash involving two vehicles that killed a man this afternoon on U.S. Highway 50.

Troopers were called around 2:28 p.m., to milepost 54, just inside Delta County, State Trooper Nate Reid said. Other circumstances surrounding the crash weren’t immediately known.

Both vehicles involved were occupied by male drivers. One driver suffered minor injuries, while the second driver was pronounced dead at the scene, Reid said.
