Monthly event for book/movie lovers at library begins March 14

Mesa County Libraries has introduced a new event for book and movie lovers.

“Reel Books: For Book and Movie Lovers” will be at 2 p.m. the second Sunday of the month in the programming room at the Central Library, 530 Grand Ave.

The first book/movie to be viewed and discussed on Sunday, March 14, is “The Perfect Storm.” The novel is by Sebastian Junger.

Those attending are welcome to bring their own snacks.

“Rebecca” is the book/movie for April 11. The book is by Daphne du Maurier.

“Atonement” is the book/movie for May 9. The book is by Ian McEwan.
