In a tribute to the late John Denver, hear his music and view a multi-media wildlife show during “Take Me Home” with Jim Curry.

The show will be presented by two local concert associations. The first will be offered by Mesa County Concert Association on Monday, April 1, at Grand Junction High School, 1400 N. Fifth St. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m., and the show will be at 7:30 p.m. If seating is available, tickets can be purchased at the door after 7:15 p.m. Cost is $25 for adults and $15 for students. Membership renewal for the 2013–14 season will be available at the performance, cash or check only. Call 243-1979, or go to for information.

Delta-Montrose Community Concert Association will present “Take Me Home” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at the Delta Performing Arts and Education, 822 Grand Ave., in Delta.

“Jim Curry has created the ultimate tribute to John Denver and has emerged as the top performer of Denver’s music today,” a news release said. “He was not only selected as the voice of John Denver by CBS Television, but he also captures the persona.”

Curry performs Denver’s multi-platinum hits such as “Rocky Mountain High,” “Annie’s Song” and “Country Roads,” visually accompanied by the multi-media images of wildlife photos and videos.
