Lovers of piano and vocal music will have a grand time at “Two Grand I’m Yours” featuring Australian duo Fiona Joy Hawkins and Trysette Loosemore and guests Willie and Sally DeFord.

The evening of music begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, in the Recital Hall of the Moss Performing Arts Center at Colorado Mesa University, 1231 N. 12th St.

The duo is described in a news release as “the best of two musical worlds where genres collide, styles merges, notes fly and voices soar.”

Hawkins and Loosemore will perform a fusion of classical, folk and pop.

Hawkins is “the elegant lady of ivory,” with more than 43 awards from nine countries, and Loosemore, a classical trained pianist, has a “warm and a little husky voice, with strength and depth,” the release said.

Tickets cost $15 and proceeds will benefit the Mesa County Pro Bono Project. Purchase tickets at http://www.juancarlosproductions, by calling 243-7940, ext. 7, or visit Colorado Legal Services, 200 N. Sixth St., Suite 203.
