Who are these four young musicians who wear vintage clothes, savor small batch bourbon and rock the ukulele with an edge and a little bit of heart and soul?

They are Boulder Acoustic Society, and they will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the KAFM Radio Room, 1310 Ute Ave.

Boulder Acoustic Society’s bio at boulderacousticsociety.net describes the band’s sound as a combination of Americana, gospel and blues with “a muscular Indie Rock edge.”

“One tune may conjure up an apocalyptic hurricane while the next may take your hand and lead you directly through the eye of the storm,” the website says.

Tickets cost $15.
