Bomber jacket

Special to the Sentinel

Styles come and go, but few are as timeless as a bomber jacket.
Its overwhelming appeal has held steady for more than 90 years.
After a fashion hiatus, the bomber jacket is back with a few updates.
Forget the oversized jackets of the 1990s. The new version is more classic and fitted — think Amelia Earhart. Also, consider colors other than traditional black and brown; a butter-yellow or dove-gray bomber jacket looks both modern and tough.
Finally, this jacket looks just as hip with a dress as it does with an old pair of jeans, so mix it up.
The bomber jacket is all about attitude, so let it do the talking.
