OA: Suggestion for the Week December 12, 2008
'The Dark Knight’
“The Dark Knight” came out on DVD this week. It’s an item that’s surely on many a hot holiday list, with just cause.
It’s a good movie. Lots of action, depth and gothic drama.
You have options, too. There’s the two–disc special edition copy, the widescreen version, the full screen version and the DVD with a limited edition Batpod replica. You can also get the movie on Blu-ray. Prices for the DVD range from as low as $15 to more than $30, depending on where you shop.
Special features on the two–disc set include the “Gotham Uncovered” documentary, featurettes,
IMAX scenes, galleries of poster art and production stills and more.
iTunes announced that “The Dark Knight” was its most downloaded movie of 2008, and that was based on pre–orders.
The film was a box office hit and definitely worth watching again and again on the small screen.
