OutFit: Fall jackets

This fall, the jackets are better than ever with plenty of color and retro patterns.

Just as the leaves start to change, the best selection of fall jackets arrive in stores.

This season the coats are better than ever. The colors are bright, the patterns are retro, but the styles lean toward the feminine.

The color palette is a flashback to the 1970s. You will find coats in mustard yellow, burnt orange and deep turquoise to brighten gray winter days.

If you want to make a big fashion statement, try a patterned jacket. From traditional plaid to over-the-top polka dots, an interesting print can really enliven an ensemble.

Colors and patterns are bold, but jacket styles are soft and romantic. Look for ruffled details and belts that accentuate all the right places.

Make your first impression reflect your true style with a new fall coat. There are so many good options that you may have to treat yourself to more than one.
