OutFit: Patterned jeans

Patterned jeans are fun and fearless.

Basic blue jeans are taking a backseat to patterns and prints this season.

Patterned jeans look great on the models, but you can pull off the trend too if you stick to a few basic guidelines.

First, choose a pattern the complements your body type. If you are petite, avoid horizontal stripes and zigzags.

Second, wear the jeans with the right footwear. Tall boots are always a good choice, but ankle boots really highlight the jeans.

Another tip is to pair patterned jeans with a neutral tunic to balance the look and add a scarf to bring it all together.

Finally, choose a darker, more subdued print because it is always more flattering than light and bold.

Patterned jeans are fun and fearless, so add a pair to your wardrobe to get through the winter blahs in stunning style.
