OutFit: Spring skirts

An A-line skirt is flattering and versatile, and easy to wear in both winter and spring.

If you are ready to get out of your winter jeans rut, then it’s time to slip into a skirt.

Three of the hottest styles can easily transition with the seasonal changes.

An A-line skirt is flattering and versatile. Pair it with tights, boots and a chunky sweater now, then lighten up in spring with wedges and a bold striped tee.

The pencil skirt is a classic, but add a modern twist by choosing one in a trendy color. Pastels are surprisingly wearable, and a mint-colored pencil skirt will brighten up a black ensemble for winter. Pair it with a cream chiffon blouse and kitten heels for spring.

A little detail makes all the difference, so opt for a skirt with embroidery. Pair it with solid blazer and button down for colder days. Give it an eclectic overhaul by mixing it with a patterned top and gladiator sandals as the weather becomes warmer.

Lighten up with a skirt. Choose a style that flatters, and you will look chic and polished every season.
