The versatile lavender herb will be celebrated at the third-annual Lavender Festival from Friday, July 12 through Sunday, July 14 in Palisade.
The Festival in the Park is 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday, July 13, in Palisade Memorial Park. Admission is free. Immerse yourself in a purple haze as you browse among an array of high-quality artisan, lavender-inspired products, live music, food and cooking demos.
Visitors can taste lavender treats, including St. Kathryn Cellars’ lavender wine.
Along with vendors, there will be a variety of workshops offered, ranging from growing and harvesting lavender to preparing dishes and preparing essential oils with lavender. You can learn about the herb’s healing and aromatherapy qualities or learn how make a fresh lavender wreath.
