Paonia’s Pipher defeated 5-2 in title match

Bo Pipher of Paonia High School lost 5-2 to Adam Baca, a returning state champion from Rocky Ford in the Class 2A 126-pound title match.

Pipher, coached by his father Andy, is a freshman and finished the season with a 38-5. Baca, completed his season with 31-0 record.

The Colorado State Wrestling Championships conclude this evening at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
