Parade of Lights will get you in the holiday spirit

If you’re needing an extra push to get into the holiday spirit, take time to go downtown on Saturday, Dec. 5.

Winter Festival begins at 1 p.m. with plenty of baked goodies, hot drinks and handmade gifts for sale along Main Street.

The Parade of Lights, which moves down Main Street, begins at 5 p.m. “Toyland” is the theme.

The parade usually lasts a couple hours (so bring extra blankets and coats) with nearly 100 floats covered in holiday lights.
