Pink Hair for Hope is Nov. 10
The Survive Fashion Show fundraiser started almost 10 years ago with a single strand of hope, according to the event’s website.
Pink hair extensions or strands of hair known as “Pink Hair for Hope” were offered by Brandi and Bonnie Easton with ANEWU Salon in an effort to create awareness and raise funds for breast cancer research.
While the mission of the Survive Fashion Show fundraiser has not changed, each year the show evolves. This year’s show will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at DoubleTree by Hilton, 743 Horizon Drive.
The theme of the evening is “a journey back in time with a vintage feel,” according to survivefashionshow.com.
The audience will “discover more abou at how cancer has affected the lives of those right here in our community,” the site said.
General admission tickets in advance cost $50. Tickets at the door will cost $60. VIP tickets are $75 in advance or $85 at the door. All Access Tables are available by reservation.
Proceeds from the show will benefit the St. Mary’s Cancer Survivorship Program.
