CMU play part of Holocaust Awareness Week

Millie Schreibman has the role of Anne Frank in Colorado Mesa University’s production of “The Diary of Anne Frank” going from Wednesday through Saturday, April 11–14.



A theatrical production of “The Diary of Anne Frank” will be presented as part of Holocaust Awareness Week at Colorado Mesa University.

Based on the book, “The Diary of Anne Frank” it is a “gripping expansion of the original stage play,” according to a news release. It “incorporates newly discovered writings from Anne Frank’s diary. This is a new adaptation for a new generation.”

The play is rated PG for adult situations and violence.

Shows will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, April 11–14, at Robinson Theatre, in the university’s Moss Performing Arts Center, 1231 N. 12th St.

Tickets cost $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $6 for students.

This production will conclude the 2011–12 theater arts season at the university. Call the box office at 248-1604 for information.
