Chocolate, art, walk and repeat in Palisade during the annual Art and Chocolate Walk from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

As you meander from business to business in Palisade, you’ll find plenty of sweets to taste as well as look at. You might just discover a new favorite artist or three.

Participating businesses include The Blue Pig Gallery, Wedel Pottery Studio, CCasual Gal Silversmith, Lavender @ Heart, Underwood-Turning, Lupita’s Bizarre Bazaar Too, Slice O’Life Bakery, Sandy King Studio, Palisade Historical Society, Craig Gallery and Everything Collectible.

Welcome the holidays

Holiday Extravaganza is the name of this event, which really does live up to the word “extravaganza.”

Get into the spirit of the holidays with this event’s decorations and music at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday or Saturday as well as 2 p.m. Saturday at First Church of the Nazarene, 2802 Patterson Road.

Groups with Grand Junction High School’s choral music department will perform and tasty desserts will be served.

Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for students and $5 for children ages 6–12. Children 5 and younger are free.
