Quick Picks: Craft beer; Edesia; Sweet Adelines

Craft beer enthusiasts will want to check out an event from 2–6 p.m. at Kannah Creek Brewing Co., 1960 N. 12th St., to benefit the Colorado Brewer’s Guild.
Fifteen Western Slope brewers will pour speciality brews at the event to highlight the state’s craft brewing industry. Cost is $10.
Breweries set to be in attendance: Kannah Creek Brewing Co., Rockslide Restaurant and Brewery, Palisade Brewing Co., Copper Club Brewing Co., Colorado Boy Pub and Brewery, Horsefly Brewing Co., Two Rascals Brewing Co., Suds Bros. Brewery, Ouray Brewery, Aspen Brewing Co., Carbondale Beer Works, Revolution Brewing, Telluride Brewing Co., Glenwood Canyon Brewing Co. and Rifle Brewing Co.

Join other food and beverage enthusiasts for Edesia: Palisade Culinary, Wine and Spirits Adventure from 1-5 p.m. at Wine Country Inn, 777 Grand River Drive. The event is invitation-only for area vendors in food and wine. This year, the spirits purveyor is Remy Cointreau.
Tickets are $65 and can be purchased by calling 464-5777 or in-person at Wine Country Inn, Alpine Bank or Marillac Clinic. Those interested also can go to edesiapalisade.com.
Guests must be 21 and older and identification will be required to enter. All proceeds will go to Marillac Clinic.
Tuesday, March 26
The Grand Mesa Chorus, Sweet Adelines International, will present a free community concert at 7 p.m. at Redlands United Methodist Church, 527 Village Way.
This concert is a dress rehearsal in advance of the regional competition set for April 6 in Colorado Springs, so the chorus will be in competition form.
At the free, local show, the chorus will perform two competition songs, plus a variety of other tunes.
