Quick Picks: Greek Festival, Applefest
Saturday, Oct. 7
If you like good food and good company, check out Greek Festival from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 3585 N. 12th St.
Admission is $1.
Delicious authentic Greek food will be for sale, traditional Greek dancers will perform and there will be a silent auction and kids games.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the HopeWest Pace Program and Grand Valley Catholic Outreach.
Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 7–8
Apple a day
Cedaredge Applefest will fill the small town on the south side of Grand Mesa with plenty to see and do.
The music begins at 10 a.m. both days in Cedaredge Town Park, more than 200 vendors can be found on Main Street and apples will be everywhere, of course.
A car and tractor show can be found in Pioneer Town and another car show can be seen at The Old Slaughterhouse Music Hall along Main Street.
