Michaels comes to GJ
Ready to rock? Bret Michaels, solo artist and lead singer of Poison, stops at Mesa Theater & Lounge, 538 Main St., as he crosses the country on his Life Rocks Tour.
Show begins at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $39 to $55 at the Mesa Theater’s box office.
Michaels, a singer/songwriter and reality TV star, released “Custom Built” in 2010, and “Jammin’ With Friends” at the end of June. The latter includes cuts of Michaels playing with musicians such as Jimmy Buffett, Loretta Lynn and former My Darkest Days guitarist Sal Costa.

Support the Art Center by purchasing tickets to hear GV Jazz Underground with Krystyn Hartman as part of the Jazz Among the Grapevines series at Two Rivers Winery, 2087 Broadway.
The show starts at 7 p.m.
Sip on Two Rivers wine and enjoy jazz in the intimate setting of a vineyard.
Tickets are $10 at the Art Center, 1803 N. Seventh St., Two Rivers Winery and at the gate.

News twists in fashion show
Fashion fans will want to tune in to Lifetime for the premiere of Season 12 of hit “Project Runway.”
This year, producers threw in twists, letting fans vote to bring back a former contestant, allowing mentor Tim Gunn to watch runway shows with the judges and offering up more fan interaction during the show.
