Quick Picks: Movies Under the Stars; moose day; Broncos training camp
Friday, July 26
Escape the summer heat and enjoy a family-friendly movie during the Glade Park Movies Under the Stars presentation of Oscar-winning animated film “Brave,” rated PG.
Movies Under the Stars is a free evening event on Fridays during the summertime with pre-movie entertainment (this week it is provided by the Highland Rogues), children’s games and hay rides at the Glade Park Volunteer Fire Department, 16400 DS Road on Glade Park.
The evening also is a fund raiser for the volunteer fire department with the concession stand opening at 5:30 p.m. and the grill at 6 p.m. The movie begins at dusk.
Take chairs and warm clothes as it is cooler on Glade Park than it is in the valley. No outside food/beverage are allowed.
