Go see Colorado Mesa University’s new marching band and its uniforms at 1 p.m. at Stocker Stadium.

It’s Homecoming for the CMU football team, so enjoy a day of college football as the Mavs face New Mexico Highlands University.

General admission tickets are $10 for adults at the gate.

The new marching band uniforms were designed by Michael Casario, who has designed uniforms for drum corps that compete in Drum Corps International.

The series, hosted by Mark Steines and Paige Davis, is a daily two-hour show with information, how-to segments and tips on managing a home and family. There also will be topical discussions

Romney vs Obama

The University of Denver will host to the first of three presidential debates leading up to Election Day in Nov. 6.

Jim Lehrer is the moderator for the first debate, which begins at 7 p.m. on DU’s campus and will be broadcast across network stations.

The first debate will focus exclusively on domestic policy.
