Take the family to the 18th annual Spirit of Christmas Walk from 5:30–9:30 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Grand Junction.

There will be more than 300 roving entertainers, including Santa Claus. Businesses are slated to stay open late, and there will be free drinks and treats.

Dress warm. The forecast is calling for single digits, bringing you closer to the North Pole, right?

Iconic TV personality Barbara Walters, who is retiring in 2014, presents her final “Most Fascinating People of 2013” special on ABC.

In usual fashion, the most fascinating person of the year hasn’t yet been revealed, but among the names already known to make Walters’ list, according to People.com, are: Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence, Pope Francis, the cast of A&E series “Duck Dynasty,” Prince George, NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, Miley Cyrus, long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad, TV personality Robin Roberts and power celebrity couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
