Fly like an eagle
The Boys of Summer: A Tribute to The Music of The Eagles will play a concert at 9 p.m. Friday at Mesa Theater, 538 Main St.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the music will start with Morgan Crouse at 8 p.m.
The Boys of Summer is based out of Los Angeles, but has two members from the Grand Valley: Jimmy Williamson and Jerry Schaeffer, former owner of Western Anglers.
Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

Saturday, Dec. 3
The annual Candy Cane Hunt is on with holiday music, snacks, a craft and puppet show beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lincoln Park Barn.
Local mascots will race Frosty the Snowman around the track at Stocker Stadium just before the hunt for candy canes, which starts at 11 a.m. sharp.
Admission is free.
MJ Thomas Photography will be at the event offering holiday family photos from 10–11:30 a.m. for $10–$25.

Tuesday, Dec. 6
Brush off the cold and get inside Mesa Theater for the Winter Film Festival with Infinity Media Productions.
The festival will get started at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the downtown venue at 538 Main St. Admission is free.
The line up will feature the films “Bella Joy,” “Mark My Words,” “The Witching Hour,” “Urges” and “Rain.”
Infinity Media Productions is owned by filmmaker Todd E. Braley.
