The opening night includes live music, hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar with registration for the Saturday, June 11, 5K fun run and golf tournament.

Movie night out

After gusty winds forced the postponement of a free, outdoor showing of the film “Goosebumps” last month, organizers are going to try again.

The movie will be shown at dusk at Lincoln Park. It’s a free event, and attendees can bring blankets and chairs, as well as a picnic.

Vendors will be selling snacks if people are empty-handed and hungry.

There will be a beer garden with Kannah Creek Brewing Co. beer and wine from Talon Winery.

All proceeds go to the Botanical Gardens.
