West’s best

Catch one of the final performances of this year’s Best of the West Music Festival at 7:30 p.m. at Robinson Theatre in Colorado Mesa University’s Moss Performing Arts Center.

The Colorado Mesa University Wind Symphony performs the world premiere of “Monument,” a western Colorado “sound painting” composed by Daniel Kellogg.

Guest artists Stoneback Sisters also will be featured during the concert.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for students at the university box office.

The festival will wrap up with a free concert at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.

Tune in to the season six premiere of A&E show “Hoarders” that gives viewers insight into the world of extreme hoarding, a mental disorder.

During this season, the experts attempt to spend a night in the house of a hoarder to see how the hoarder has adapted to living in the cluttered, potentially hazardous environment, according to aetv.com.

For the batcave

Pick up the movie trilogy of director Christopher Nolan’s interpretation of Batman just in time for the holidays.

The three movies in the new Blu-ray gift set are: “Batman Begins,” “The Dark Knight,” and The Dark Knight Rises.”
