Rock Jam says Motley Crue, KISS part of lineup

Two of the most popular and influential hard-rock bands in history will make a tour stop this summer in Western Colorado.

KISS and Motley Crue are scheduled to play Aug. 24 on the Rock Jam Stage in Mack, event spokeswoman Julie Shafer said in a news release.

The full lineup for the two-day event has not been announced, but ticket information can be found at rockjam.com.

“We were thrilled when we learned that the KISS/Motley Crue tour wanted to perform at Rock Jam as part of their national tour,” Shafer said. “This is an honor for our festival to be one of the few selected venues in the nation to play host to these great bands.”

The Rock Jam date is one of nearly 40 the bands will make as part of their summer tour that begins in July and ends in September.

Rock Jam is one of two scheduled Colorado stops for KISS and Motley Crue on this tour. The other is Aug. 8 at the Comfort Dental Amphitheater in Englewood.
