Survive fashion show to benefit cancer fight
Fashion will claim an upcoming evening and honor cancer survivors through the Survive Fashion Show supporting St. Mary’s Cancer Survivorship Program.
“Modeled after the high-fashion displays in New York, the show strives to showcase unique apparel and fashion-forward hair and makeup,” according to a news release about the event.
The show will be from 6–9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 743 Horizon Drive.
Klik Clothing Co., Turbo and Razzmatazz will showcase their clothing collections with hair and makeup created by Anewu Salon.
Nine cancer survivors will serve as models: Erin Larson, Karen Lee, Tedi Gillespie, Sandra Legg, Jeanette Haynie, Kim Hone, Mary Vaughn, Suzanne Palmer and Allison McAtlin.
General admission tickets cost $35. Super VIP and VIP tables are available.
