Sweet Adelines ‘Sequins on Parade’ at CMU
With music, sparkle and even a juggler, the Grand Mesa Chorus Sweet Adelines have created the fun family show “Sequins on Parade, Coming to a Town Near You.”
Written by one of the chorus’ members, “Sequins on Parade” will be presented at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Robinson Theatre in Colorado Mesa University’s Moss Performing Arts Center.
Tickets cost $15 for adults, $12 for seniors age 65 and older and $6 for children ages 6–11. Admission is free for children younger than 5. There is a $2 per ticket discount with the purchase of 10 or more tickets.
Along with music from the Grand Mesa Chorus, the show offers special performances from Orchard Avenue Elementary School’s Children’s Chorus, the Bookcliff Barbershop Chorus, Ken Dravis, the quartet Elixir and 2012 Grand Mesa Chorus Scholarship winners Adrienne Bargsten and Olivia Christensen.
Tickets to the show are available at area City Market stores, PartyLand, from chorus members and at the door.
